  the first appraisal came back ridiculously low on a home we were purchasing. There were spelling errors and grammatical errors, just showing the lack of professionalism. The comps used were not remotely comparable, they were houses in need of 10-15-20k in repair work, the one we purchased needed 1-2k in repairs.
  The second go around the appraisal came back (again low) based on a "selling price" that was 10k off the actual sales contract. the third and final attempt came back again low, again with spelling errors, the sales price corrected in one spot and not the other. I have had multiple people look at it that do this for their living that come back scratching their heads in disbelief. I would not recommend this guy to anyone!
