  I am CONSTANTLY impressed by the inventory!!!! There are so many good albums that I always want to come back and snoop around, and i usually leave with something new or unheard. John has an incredible knowledge of music, ranging from mainstream artists to the most unknown outsiders. He also has immaculate taste, confirmed by the red and black walls adorned with art, or the lights that glow in his storefront like rubies beneath a bed of flames. All musical palettes can be satisfied by the contents of this cosmic kitchen.

  This is the best record store I've ever shopped at. I've lived in Portland and Chicago, and I've worked in a record store myself for a few years and this blows them all well out of the water. Not exaggerating. The owner is a sharp and passionate connoisseur, in addition to being a polite and honest dude. This is a fascinating place, full of hidden gems, right here in Cow Town. Anyone who buys records needs to patronize this place, even if it means an hours-long road trip. It's worth it. I've never seen or even heard of him ripping somebody off on prices or quality. The jabroni who left a negative review below because he didn't like being called out for finger-banging the records should be completely ignored. Anyone in the business could take a cue or two or three from this place.
