  My 4 year old son went in for a cleaning and had 4 cavities. They said it would be best done under general anesthesia and was told the procedure would cost right at $900 with our insurance. After the procedure he said he filled 11 cavities and put one cap on. He then billed us for an additional $1800 and this doesn't include the thousands of dollars in bills we are receiving from the surgical center. I am sorry to say as Dr. Dietz may be good with children I have found our experience to be completely unethical. All of the fees and cost should have been disclosed before the procedure. Our son never complained of his teeth hurting or bothering him. Would not recommend based on the ethics of this practice.
