  Helpful staff, large parking lot, easy to use self check-out. I mostly come here for free classes. Free movie rentals are a bonus! I appreciate that staff can get other libraries in the area to bring books that otherwise are not available at Bloomington Public Library. I'm lucky to live close to two (2) libraries. This keeps me from having to purchase books and spend my own money. Thank you kindly for servicing the community!
  
  Note to visitors: Bloomington Public Library is known as a Safe Place, which means that if you are in an abusive environment, you may let the staff at the library know that you need a Safe Place and they will alert the proper authorities to remove you (and any children involved) out of your current environment.

  They've done amazing things with this library over the past 5 years or so, it seems like a completely different library. The staff is still helpful but they do have automated checkouts. Well organized.
